In agriculture, when farmers are heavily influenced by nature, the productivity of the crop depends on weather and climate. Hence, research team Tran Nhat Nam, Nguyen Van Hung, Le Hoai Phong, Hoang Minh Thuan and Nguyen Thanh Phong - students of Information Technology Faculty, College of Industry and Commerce - under the guidance of MA. Nguyen Anh Tu developed a project that used information technology to create a system used in agriculture.

The system consists of hardware and software, hardware, is an electronic system that connects to sensors, such as temperature, humidity, light, pH / PPM and etc in a farming environment, having task of collecting environmental information. In addition, the system also implemented the control mechanisms, such as irrigation pump, fan, sunny cutting curtain, nutrition, suitable for many types of farming.
The software is responsible for receiving information from the hardware sent, which is stored in the database for future use. Software can issue warnings, control commands ensure the environment for the best growing trees. Users can perform monitoring and control tasks via a fixed touch screen at the farm; Software on a personal computer or handheld device using the Android operating system.
This is the study that won the third prize at the Research Student Award - Euréka 2017.
