Dong Thai yams with quality "fragrance as honey, intestinal gold as dream" were supported techniques more than 3 years by Ha Noi Department of Newly Rural Development.

When having brand, Dong Thai yam products will have economic value, new position in the market, contribute to improvement of the lives of farmers.

Ba Vi district’s leaders said that yams are traditional crops of people in Dong Thai commune with an area of over 300 ha, the average yield from 700 - 800kg/pole, equivalent to about 20 tons / ha.

Each year the average yam yield of the whole commune reached 4,000 tons. Dong Thai yam is the 3 third product of Ba Vi district certified collective trademark after Ba Vi milk and Ba Vi tea.
