The contest was organized for the first time by Tien Giang Department of Science and Technology, to promote and find innovative ideas, projects, products, business models, and startups in the province.

On September 18, in Hai Phong city, the Innovation Startup Festival 2023 (Techfest Hai Phong 2023) took place with the topic "Hai Phong - City of innovation - Accelerate and shine."

To further strengthen and create motivation for science, technology (STI) and innovation cooperation between Vietnam and the United States, ministries, branches and agencies of both Vietnam and the United States are actively exchanging to concretize action plans, including the semiconductor industry development program and the Vietnam-US Science and Technology Research Cooperation Program (Vustar).

On September 12, the Vietnam Digital Media Association (VDCA) announced and launched the Vietnam Digital Content Creativity Award (VCA 2023). This is also the first time in Vietnam there is an award for organizations/individuals working in the field of digital content creation.
