Survey of Binh Thuan Natural Resources and Environment shows coast of Binh Thuan is 192 km long, of which 6 coast paragraphs often occur serious erosion, need to take measures to protect Tien Thanh paragraph coast (Phan Thiet city), coast of Lien Huong town (Tuy Phong district), the coast of Phuoc Loc, Tan Phuoc (La Gi town) and etc. Especially, there are strong erosion seas into the mainland between 10 - 20m per year as villages of Tien Duc, Tien Thanh (Phan Thiet city).
Farmer, fishermen, salt workers and the urban poor people are most affected by climate change due to lack of nutrition, resources,financial capability, and to difficultly access information to cope up the climate weather. That was the statement of associate professor, Dr. Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Institute for Climate Change - Can Tho University at the Mekong Connect CEO Forum 2016 with the topic "Search chances in risks" in the past.
