Before information about fake goods with reputable and famous brands in the market, infringing intellectual property rights, seriously affecting production and business activities of enterprises and consumers' confidence, through the work of grasping the situation in the management area, recently, the Market Management Team No.6, the Department of Market Management of Vinh Phuc cooperated with the representative of AJINOMOTO Vietnam Company to check the labels and packaging of AJINOMOTO products Thao Dinh food store located at Cua Mieu area, Son Tinh commune, Cam Khe district, Phu Tho province; owned by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thao.

During the inspection process, Market Management Team 6 discovered that the establishment was trading goods without invoices and documents, showing signs of counterfeiting the protected trademark in Vietnam, including 1 package of AJINOMOTO MSG of 1kg / pack and 6 packages of AJINOMOTO MSG 454g / pack with signs of counterfeiting, packaging of AJINOMOTO MSG.

At the time of inspection, the representative of AJINOMOTO Vietnam Company affirmed that all of the above goods were counterfeit goods, packaging of AJINOMOTO MSG. The store owner has admitted her violation.

Market Management Team No. 6 issued a sanctioning decision against Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thao for violations of trading goods (food additives) forging labels and packaging of goods with a fine of 2,000,000 VND. At the same time, force Mrs. Thao to destroy all violated goods.

The representative of AJNOMOTO Vietnam Company also recommended to consumers how to know to avoid buying fake AJNOMOTO brand through a number of characteristics, such as the word "Gold Medal" is blurred, not sharp and serrated clearly read the text inside; dark yellow; solder edges on labels, packaging wrinkled and bubbled; 4 uneven weld lines; and the date of manufacture printed on the bottom of the package is faint, hard to read.
