Incentive biochip production for diagnosis and treatment
The Prime Minister agreed to the project for "Application of gene technology in the production of biological chips for diagnostics and treatment of certain diseases". It is a plan implementation project for developing some high-tech industries to 2020 according to Decision No. 842 / QD-TTg dated June 01, 2011.

This project applied the incentive mechanisms, policies in the Decision No. 2457 / QD-TTg dated October 31, 2010 of the Prime Minister on approving the national program to develop high-tech to 2020.

Ministry of Industry and Trade will preside and coordinate with ministries, branches and localities concerned to guide investors applicable mechanisms and preferential policies, specific support; inspection, monitoring and evaluation of the investment projects in accordance with regulations.

The project  for "Applying gene technologies in manufacturing biochips for diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases" will manufacture Biochip products (cardiovascular, detect tuberculosis disease, cancer, congenital hearing loss, and etc) with scale about 360,000 chips / year.

The project was certificated by Ho Chi Minh Hi-Tech Park on 4/2015. Existing Biochip products have been applying in many medical establishments in the country.
