Along with that are analyzes of case studies on smart construction planning practices in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Korea in all fields such as construction, waste, water, transportation, green space and etc.
At the same time, delegates identified advantages and challenges in the process of developing smart cities in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia; share best experiences on smart urban development associated with green growth in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and especially in Korea.
According to Dr. Phan Chi Hieu, President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the concepts of smart homes and smart cities are increasingly popular and are topics of interest and discussion globally.
Technology and digital technology are considered breakthrough solutions, opening the way for countries to face the challenge of urbanization, promoting sustainable and inclusive growth.
Currently, Southeast Asian countries have built an ASEAN Smart City framework with the goals of: Improving the quality of life for people; build a competitive economy and ensure sustainability in environmental protection. |
