The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Document No. 1931 / BCT-DL dated March 19, 2020 to the Prime Minister for consideration and supplementation of planning of wind power projects.
On September 1, at the press conference, Mr. Le Van Han, Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh People's Committee, said that during the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the province (taking place from January 14 to 17) there will be many activities, to introduce and promote images, potentials, advantages and policies to attract investment to many individuals and organizations.
Solar power combined with agriculture or high-tech agriculture both benefits the shortage of on-site power supply and creates more jobs and local agricultural development.
On 4/6, in Binh Nguyen commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai, it took place the inauguration ceremony of Binh Nguyen solar power plant. Up to this point, this is the largest solar power plant in Quang Ngai province.
On May 31, 2016, the first Smart Energy Hackathon will take place in Vietnam to develop a sustainable energy ecosystem.
To meet the demand for electricity in Vietnam, coal power will continue to grow in the coming years but wind and solar power will catch up with this trend, according to Reuters.
That is judgment of Dr. Le Hai Hung, Hanoi University of Technology at the workshop on "Solar Energy in Vietnam: Integration with the Power Network: Opportunities and Challenges."
In the context, the Southern region is facing the risk of power shortage, the solutions to save electricity in production and living activities bring high efficiency and need to be replicated to benefit for the country.
At the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung on March 25, Mr. John Walker - Chairman and CEO of Macquarie Capital Company (Australia) affirmed that he has studied very carefully and will soon invest in renewable energy projects in large scale in Vietnam.
In the context of increasingly limited fuel resources, efficient energy use is an urgent issue.
