Each silver strip has average length between 10 to 50 microns, with a micron is 1 millionth of meter, while the average thickness of a human hair ranges between 18-80 microns.

Cost of each strip is around 50 UK cents, approximately 17,000 VND.

Researchers at Korea Institute of Modern Science and Technology hoped new "fingerprint" creation device of them not only limited to credit cards and money but also can be used for fighting against many different counterfeit goods types, including electronic equipments and medicine.
