Climate Change
The conference focused on issues related to climate change adaptation in Vietnam; promote cooperation and connection with development partners, the scientific community, businesses, organizations and individuals for climate change response. The conference also introduced the IPCC Special Report on the impact of global warming of 1.5oC, global climate change (climate change) response efforts and recommendations for Vietnam.
Satellite image data from the Vietnam Data Cube System will be exploited by the Mekong River Commission to monitor flood movements and water resources.
In the morning of June 19, 2019, Can Tho City collaborated with the 100 Resilient City Program (100RC) sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation to announce the Plan of Strengthening Resilience of Can Tho City. This is the first urban resilience plan for the fast-growing city of the Mekong Delta.
