Ideas fight against climate change
To commemorate the historic moment Paris Agreement took effect (November 4, 2016), French Embassy in Hanoi introduced to the public the picture «60 solutions to cope with climate change» hang on the wall surrounding the premises of the Embassy.


The exhibition was displayed on the walls of French Embassy.

By using light art and photographs, Yann Arthus- Bertrand, a photographer offered innovative and effective solutions to respond to climate change and economic development.

The photograph includes 21 works of photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, is located in the famous collection of "Earth from the sky", introduced to the audience the specific initiatives in four areas, such as city and agriculture, energy conversion and adaptation to climate change.

Some initiatives are in this exhibition can be helpful for Vietnam in coping with climate change in the future. These include works of "Protecting mangroves to live better." According to Author Yann Arthus- Bertrand, in Guinea, French Development Agency encouraged people to plant mangrove rice with resistance to insects. This brought the food source, kept the land and coped with climate change.

Another initiative is that the French Red Cross coordinated with the Southeast island countries of Indian including Comores, Madagascar, Seychelles and etc. They have established the Regional Rescue Association in the Indian Ocean. This Association can coordinate 800 of committees under the localities and the management of material storage in emergency response to natural disasters, such as emergency shelter, water treatment kits and other necessities.

To improve urban transport and environmental protection, TP.Botoga (Nigeria) deployed rapid bus service since 2000. This system has improved urban traffic, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions around 350,000 tons per year.
