Representative leaders of  Department of Natural Resources and Environment,  Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, religions signed joint minutes of environmental protection and response to climate change.

The leaders of  Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Natural Resources and Environment and representatives of local religions uniformly implemented indicators in the jointly signed content, such as: over 80% of religious dignitaries, monks and believers improve understanding of religion, actively participate in appropriate programs on environmental protection and response to climate change; each commune, ward and town built places of worship at least one model of religious communities to protect the environment and respond to climate change; strengthening coordination and supervision of the implementation of environmental protection implemented by provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Natural Resources and Environment and religious organizations and etc.

The joint signing is to concretize the role and responsibility of religions for environmental protection tasks, responding to climate change with specific activities, consistent with the characteristics of each religion, location residential areas, while enhancing the construction of inter-religious solidarity; contribute actively in the task of protecting the environment, respond to climate change in the province.
