On May 19, more than 2,000 green trees have been planted on the hillside of the Professional Training Center of Lam Dong Provincial Public Security, Ward 7, Da Lat City.

Vice Chairman of Lam Dong People's Committee, Mr. Pham S said: Lam Dong province in general and Da Lat city in particular planted forests and planted scattered trees effectively, contributing to maintaining the coverage forest in Lam Dong province is now 53.1%. Achievements in forest plantation, tree planting, forest management and protection of cadres, civil servants, employees, workers and people in the province as well as in Da Lat city contributed to the Association of Southeast Asian Environmental Cities certified Da Lat city as an environmentally sustainable city in September 2017.

According to leaders of Da Lat People's Committee, over the past year, the city propagandized, attracted the participation of agencies, units, households and people in the area planted more than 500,000 scattered trees types; Forest owners planted nearly 1,000 hectares of forest.
