In which, the majority (80%) of surveyed enterprises have micro, small and medium scale; and 12.6% are large enterprises.
Concerns for digital transformation
According to the Report, nearly half of the enterprises participating in the survey (48.8%) said that they had used some digital transformation solutions for production and business but have now stopped because these solutions are not suitable cases or businesses apply to meet the immediate needs posed in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic and now no longer needs.
However, many businesses have seen digital transformation as an inevitable trend and increased investment in digital technology applications, helping businesses adapt and even accelerate growth during an unprecedentedly difficult period in the past time.
Trinh Thi Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Business Development, commented that compared to 2021 when many businesses are at the stage of learning, researching and consulting information, preparing for the implementation of digital transformation, then by 2022, the number of businesses undergoing digital transformation and the number of businesses spending specific budgets for this activity (whether more or less) has increased.
The sectors with the highest level of readiness include: Agriculture, forestry and fishery; Wholesale and retail; Vehicle repair; Accommodation and catering services; Manufacturing and processing industry; Extractiveness; and etc. |
